Mid Century Butterscotch Murano Ashtray/Trinket Dish

Without a sticker or signature it’s almost impossible to say exactly who made this beautiful little heart shaped dish. I’ve seen an almost identical one attributed to the renowned Italian glass maker Archimede Seguso.
Undoubtably hailing from somewhere in the Murano islands of Italy, it’s quality and weighty feel speak for itself! Originally intended as an ashtray; I’m sure you couldn’t have too many of those in the 1960s- this little vessel looks beautiful displayed on its own, or could also serve very nicely as a little catch all dish, for clips or jewellery etc.  Bellissima!
Aside from some scratches to the smooth base, it’s in immaculate condition.
